“Simple Carbohydrates”

also known as simple sugars, are molecules that consist of one or two sugar units. They are easily and quickly digested, and can be found in many foods, including fruits, honey, table sugar, and many processed foods. Examples of simple sugars include glucose, fructose, and sucrose. Simple carbohydrates provide a quick burst of energy, but because they are rapidly metabolized, they do not provide sustained energy or contribute much nutritional value. Consuming too much simple carbohydrates can lead to an increase in blood sugar levels, which can contribute to health problems like obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease

The third one is fruit juices which are strained form of fruit (excluding fibers) it is fructose is also called as simple carbohydrate. It is advisable when you are body is not going to accept any hard food or your digestive system is not enough strong to digest the fiber. So to the patient who need energy during the their Hospital stay we recommend fruit juices and in the RT feeds where liquid diets are recommended. Don’t Advice Healthy individual to have fruits juices without fibers.

“Cold drinks” in summer has only simple sugar another form of simple carbohydrate
Mostly kids are very much fond of this type of carbonated drink which only provide simple carbohydrate without any nutrition. So recommendation of cold drinks is zero by any qualified Dietitian . If any commercial says this cold drink has mango in it or oranges in it so don’t buy it. Just eat mango or oranges or banana in its original form.

“Honey” yes honey is also a simple carbohydrate but it had some nutritional value at its extract from lots of flowers but it’s a simple carbohydrate it has its own nutritional value but don’t have fibers.
Simple carbohydrates mostly give you instant energy so whenever you want instant energy in some cases like sun stroke hypoglycemia dehydrated condition you must have all this things but whenever you are in health and there is no need of simple carbohydrate always always has carbs with fibers that is called as complex carbohydrate which give you energy.
